NICK DUGGAN

With more than 20 years of experience developing people and organizations, Nick Duggan is passionate about making work more meaningful. In addition to leadership coaching through Deeper Work, Nick also currently leads learning & development and diversity & inclusion for AppFolio, a high-growth software company named one of the best places to work in the US by Fortune magazine.
Before launching Deeper Work in 2017, Nick led global employee communications for the GoToMeeting division of Citrix, where he improved employee engagement by significantly increasing communication effectiveness. As a member of the organization's senior staff, he guided employees through an intense series of fast-paced transformational changes, including strategy shifts, leadership transitions, and multiple mergers and acquisitions, including the spinoff of the GoTo business and its merger with LogMeIn.
Nick previously founded QuestSpace Coaching, where he created a soul-centered coaching model that incorporated guided visioning and other unique methods to help his clients find authentic success in their lives and work. He began his career in the healthcare industry, where he improved employee and stakeholder engagement at companies such as DaVita, the American Heart Association, Prometheus Laboratories, and The Zitter Group.
Nick holds a bachelor's degree in Communication from UC Santa Barbara and a master's degree in Organizational Psychology from William James College, where his thesis was entitled “Engaging the Soul within Organizations: Practical Implications of Workplace Spirituality Research.” He lives in Santa Barbara.
